Andrew Preston (Publons) will talk on how to speed up science through peer review at the workshop on “New models of peer review”, Athens, 17-19 November 2015.
Andrew is co-founder of Publons. Featured on Nature in October 2014, Publons works with peer reviewers, editors and publishers to motivate reviewers by giving credit for peer review in a format that can be included in job and funding applications. Andrew received his PhD in condensed matter physics from Victoria University of Wellington in 2010 and did his postdoctoral research in x-ray spectroscopy at Boston University. More info here
