EASE has established a Peer Review Committee in which PEERE is represented by Flaminio Squazzoni

EASE has established a Peer Review Committee in which PEERE is represented. The committee is co-chared by Flaminio Squazzoni (University of Brescia, Italy)  PEERE (MC Chair) and Ines Steffens (Eurosurveillance, Sweden).

This group is being established to coincide with the 2017 Peer Review week, and its first activity is to launch a public forum where anyone can discuss issues around Peer review.

The group will be looking at questions such as:

•How can we recognise and reward reviewers?
•How can we improve the peer review workflow?
•What guidelines should be provided to reviewers?
•What is “good practice” peer review?
•How can we create a good reviewing culture?

The group aims to work with other organizations that are also investigating these issues, so that we can incorporate different initiatives.
